Really good Stay Near Gatwick!

The owner greeted me warmly. He provided directions to a fantastic local pub, 'Ye Olde Six Bells'. It has friendly staff and serves great food. The included parking was very convenient for my overnight stay.
The stairs had a slick carpet. This made navigating them a bit hazardous.

The off-street parking was available. I guess that's something.
The room supposedly had radiators, but they didn't work at all. It was like staying in a fridge. I could see my breath, and i needed to wear socks to bed.

the room include a tea tray complete with tea, coffee and hot chocolate, also biscuits. the house has lovely character, including a fireplace in the bedroom. the hotel is handy for restaurants and the train station. quasim answered my questions quick and even took my case to the room when i arrived.
the stairs are steep because it is a old guest house.

not my favorite stay, i must confess
coffee ringstoilet paper
i have to say, the room could've used a bit more attention. there were these coffee rings stubbornly clinging to the bedside tables, and the lamps looked like they hadn't seen a duster in ages. also, they were pretty stingy with the toilet paper. i mean, running out after just one use each? it seemed like a strategic rationing of resources, you know?
